International Welcome Desk @ Leuven Station: 13th till the 26th of September

To welcome all new international students in Leuven and to help them in their first hours in the city, the K.U.Leuven organises, in cooperation with LOKO International, a Welcome Desk at Leuven train station. The volunteers will try to answer all your questions and point you in the right direction.

We are desperately looking for people willing to welcome new students. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and you will certainly have a big impact on new students' first impressions of Leuven. Of course, there are some practical benefits of being a volunteer: food and drink will be provided and those who do two shifts will get free entrance to the International Party and some free drinks! Orientation days

The university organises a 5-day event called the Orientation Days in order to welcome new international students. The full program can be found here.

International Party

What: Party with over a thousand people. Specially created for international students but open to all!

When: Thursday 23rd September. Doors open at 10pm.

Where: Alma 2

Cost: 2 € income.

Party the night away with special DJ sets and a great atmosphere. Party of the year!

LOKO: Your Student Body Council

LOKO represents the students of the faculties of K.U.Leuven. LOKO International can help you with your problems, questions and remarks. The LOKO team intermediates on your behalf - if we cannot solve your problem, we will redirect you to the correct agency.

LOKO also makes sure you, our international students have a great stay in Leuven. On one hand, to motivate the integration of the international students, we participate actively in the Buddy Program and on the other we organize activities only for international students.
